www.synbionyme.com (hereinafter referred to as the « Site ») is a site owned by LABORATOIRE SYNBIONYME, the Laboratoire Synbionyme company, a simplified joint stock company with working capital of 1,000,000 euros, whose head offices are located at 12-14 Rond-Point des Champs Elysées 75008 Paris (France), registered with the Paris Registry of Trade and Companies under number 817 436 520 (hereinafter referred to as “Synbionyme”) whose intra-community VAT number is FR95817436520. The site is hosted by: LWS, a joint stock company with working capital of 1,000,000€, whose head offices are located at 4, RUE GALVANI - 75838 PARIS CEDEX 17 - FRANCE registered with the Paris Registry of Trade and Companies under number  450 453 881.

The Site and all accessible parts of the Site are the exclusive property of Synbionyme or of third parties having granted limited use of it to Synbionyme. It is strictly prohibited to partially or totally disseminate, modify, transmit or reproduce the Site in any form whatsoever. Insertion of hypertext links to all or part of the Site is prohibited without prior written approval from Synbionyme.

Synbionyme is also owner of the lawfully filed and registered Synbionyme trademarks and logos. Any use of any kind of the Synbionyme trademarks is prohibited and it is generally prohibited to breach Synbionyme intellectual and industrial property rights.

Synbionyme declines all responsibility for difficulties encountered in accessing its Site or for any communication failure. Synbionyme does not guarantee that the information provided by the Site is exhaustive or up to date at any moment. The purpose of the information given on the Site is to supply general information and has no contractual value.

2. GENERAL TERMS OF USE FOR THE SITE AND PROPOSED SERVICES

Use of the Site implies full and unreserved acceptance of the general terms of use described hereinafter. These terms of use may be modified or completed at any time; users are advised to consult them regularly.

This Site is usually accessible to all users at any time. However, interruptions for technical maintenance purposes may be decided by Synbionyme who will endeavor to inform users of the dates and times of the intervention.

The Site is updated regularly. Similarly, these legal notices may be modified at any time: they are nonetheless applicable to users who are invited to refer to them as often as possible for full understanding.

3. Description OF services

The purpose of the Site is to provide information on all of the company’s activities. The advice given on the Site is of a cosmetological nature and cannot in any case replace a medical diagnosis or consultation, nor replace medical treatment.

Synbionyme strives to provide information on the Site that is as exact as possible. However, it cannot be held liable for any omissions, errors or deficiencies in its updating, whether these be due to its own fault or that of its partners who provide this information.

All of the information contained on the Site is given as indicative and is subject to change. Moreover, the information appearing on the Site is not exhaustive. It is given on condition of any changes having occurred since its posting online.

The purpose of the information given on the Site is to supply general information and has no contractual value.

4. CONTRACTUAL Limitations REGARDING TECHNICAL DATA

The Site uses JavaScript technology.

The Site may not be held liable for any material damage related to use of the Site. Furthermore, the Site user agrees to access the Site using recent equipment that does not contain any viruses and with an up-to-date last-generation browser.

5. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY AND COUNTERFEIT

All reproduction, representation, modification, publication, or adaptation of all or part of the Site regardless of the means or process used, is prohibited without prior written approval by Synbionyme.

6. LIABILITY Limitations

Synbionyme may not be held liable for any direct or indirect damage caused to the user’s equipment when using the site www.synbionyme.com resulting either from the use of devices that do not comply with the specifications indicated in point 4, or the appearance of a bug or an incompatibility. Interactive spaces (possibility of asking questions in the contact space) are available to users. Synbionyme reserves the right to delete without prior notice any content posted on this space that is in breach of applicable French law, in particular of the provisions relating to personal data protection.

7. PERSONAL DATA MANAGEMENT

Synbionyme may collect personal data relating to users. In compliance with the French Personal Data Protection law of January 6, 1978, amended in 2004, the user is informed that he or she has a right to access, delete and modify his or her personal data which they may access at all times by simple written request by e-mail (“Contact Us” section) or by postal mail to the following address: Laboratoire SYNBIONYME, Service Clients, 12-14 Rond-Point des Champs Elysées 75008 Paris. Unless otherwise stated, this data may be processed in order to get to know the Site users better and inform them on Synbionyme news.

On condition of having received express consent from the user to collect this data, Synbionyme may send the user newsletters by e-mail.

8. hypertext LINKS AND cookies

The Site contains a number of hypertext links to other sites, featured with their consent. However, Synbionyme is unable to verify the content of these sites and consequently cannot be held liable for it.

Browsing the Site may result in the installation of cookies on the user’s computer. A cookie is a small file that does not enable the user’s identification but that records information about a computer’s browsing activity on a site. The purpose of the data obtained is to facilitate subsequent browsing on the site and also to enable various visitor measurements.

Under Internet Explorer: tool tab (cog-shaped pictogram on the upper right) / Internet options. Click on Confidentiality and chose Block Cookies. Hit OK to validate.

Under Firefox: at the top of the browser window, click on the Firebox button, then go to the Options tab. Click on Privacy. Set the storage rules on: use the personalized settings for history. Finally, un-check the box to deactivate the cookies.

Under Safari: Click on the menu pictogram (symbolized by a cog) on the upper right of the browser. Select Settings. Click on Show Advanced Settings. In the "Confidentiality” section, click on Content settings. You can block the cookies in the “Cookies” section.

Under Chrome: Click on the upper right of the browser on the menu pictogram (symbolized by three horizontal lines). Select Settings. Click on Show Advanced Settings. In the "Confidentiality” section click on Favorites. You can block the cookies using the “Confidentiality” tab.

9. applicable LAW AND attribution OF juriSdiction

All litigation related to the use of the Site is subject to French law. Jurisdiction is exclusively attributed to the competent courts of Paris.
